The director of the Renewable Generation Association (AGR A.G.), Alfredo Zañartu, together with Loreto Rivera Torteroglio, Stakeholders and Permitting Director at RWE, held a key meeting with the German Ambassador to Chile, Susanne Fries-Gaier.

The discussion focused on the main challenges facing the non-conventional renewable energy industry in Chile. During the meeting, AGR representatives had the opportunity to present the association’s strategic objectives, highlighting their commitment to fostering a competitive and efficient renewable energy market.

Aligned with global carbon neutrality goals, Alfredo Zañartu and Loreto Rivera emphasized AGR’s active role in Chile’s energy transition. Additionally, key initiatives to strengthen cooperation between both countries were addressed, leveraging Germany’s expertise in clean energy and Chile’s potential to become a regional leader in the sector.
